Beloved Brick Clip Closing After Awesome 41 Years
Here at Shore, we’ve seen businesses come and go. Others have remained constant in our lives. These are the ones we never thought would close their doors. Sadly, after more than 40 years of great food and even better memories, a neighborhood gem said goodbye today.

These were the types of smiles you used to see every time you walked into Cozy’s Kitchen on Herbertsville Road in The Brick.
It all started 41 years ago with “Rosie’s Cozy Kitchen” on Route 88. If you have roots in The Brick, you might have remembered calling or hearing it “Bob and Lori’s”.
Seven years later, the restaurant moved to its Herbertsville Road location. It was always a welcome sight on the busy Brick Road.
What made Cozy’s special was that it was truly a neighborhood restaurant. As the local landmark mentioned on Facebook, this is where residents of the area made lifelong friends and even partners.
This is where the kids stopped after a game to grab a cone and a prize from the treasure chest.
And of course, who can forget the epic game nights?
Thanks to a great partnership with Ocean County Gamers Enclave, there were over 65 different board games to play.
The restaurant bore his name. Comfortable. I have never eaten badly and according to the reviews I am not alone. Cozy’s has a 4.6 star review on Google. For any restaurant, this is really good.
I’ve been passing this place for YEARS and finally stopped by for lunch. The food and service were excellent. The place is small but that’s why they call it “Cozy”. This is one of my favorites.
Why the closure of Cozy? They didn’t say it exactly on social media, but it’s been an incredibly tough time for restaurants. Especially recently when it comes to finding staff.

The last few years have been difficult for everyone and the decision has been made to sell the property.
Sunday October 3rd will be our last day of operations and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you.
In many ways, the atmosphere of a business largely depends on its customer base. Throughout the year, many friendships have been formed and we have learned a lot from our customers. Hope we were able to offer you some tips that have also been helpful to you, our customers. Words cannot express your gratitude for all the years that you have supported us.
Thank you, Cozy’s for all the great meals and memories. We will miss you.
