New Pinery restaurant now open
A new pineapple-inspired restaurant is ready to open in Ivanhoe Village.
The Pinewood (Facebook | Website) is a new casual fine-dining restaurant on the ground floor of the $ 76 million Newly opened Lake House apartments in the village of Ivanhoé (where the penthouse has just been rented for over $ 12,000 per month).
The Pinery was inspired by a pineapple plantation (also called “pineries”, you understand?) That operated on the shores of Lake Ivanhoe. The plantation was owned and operated by George Russell, of whom we have already spoken HERE. The story is so inspiring, another restaurant nearby, Russell’s on Lake Ivanhoe, took the same theme and also worked with it.
The Pinery overlooks nearby Ivanhoe Lake and the downtown Orlando skyline on its outdoor patio, which opens to the bar through a hydraulic pivoting window. The dining room is intimate and well appointed, and the menu is downright delicious, featuring fresh, seasonal Florida dishes.
Happy hour, or “Golden Hours” as the staff call it, will be from 4pm to 6pm daily.
The restaurant opens to the public for dinner service on Monday June 21 and is located at 295 northeast, boulevard Ivanhoé [GMap].
