The David Kempinski officially opens today on the Tel Aviv waterfront

The renowned Kempinski Hotels brand brings 125 years of five-star European hospitality to Tel Aviv.
Kempinski Hotels announces the highly anticipated opening of The David Kempinski Tel Aviv, the brand’s 80th global opening and first property in Israel. Housed in a 34-story skyscraper designed by Feigin Architects, the 250-room and suite property opens today, following the recent announcement that Israel’s borders will open to international tourism. With the Kempinski brand’s dedication to five-star service and accommodation, the David Kempinski Tel Aviv will undoubtedly become the flagship of the city’s luxury hotel offering.
Among the property’s highlights are 56 suites of unprecedented grandeur, with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea and floor-to-ceiling windows that allow guests to soak in the area’s natural light. It includes the property’s triplex-penthouse suite, the largest of its kind in Tel Aviv and spanning over 370 m2 with panoramic sea views presented through six-meter floor-to-ceiling windows. The penthouse includes two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a living and dining area, a gym and a private terrace with a 10 meter infinity pool that blends into the horizon.
Led by award-winning chef Mor Cohen, the David Kempinski Tel Aviv is home to five kosher restaurants spread over several floors, each with a distinct offering: Restaurant Sereia (left picture), an upscale fish restaurant with an exceptional selection of daily fresh fish; Sereia Loungeoffering a healthy menu and delicious pastries; Horizon Lounge on the 22nd floor, an exclusive space available for certain rooms and suites with 24-hour food service, business facilities and relaxation areas including outdoor seating; the Pool bar, offering light snacks and refreshing drinks overlooking the majestic infinity pool facing the Mediterranean Sea; and the common bar, a two-in-one bar concept that includes a Cohiba Atmosphere branded cigar bar as well as Israel’s first House of Macallan whiskey bar.
One of the hotel’s most attractive offerings is the private rooftop pool and full-service restaurant and bar, reserved exclusively for the hotel’s Signature Suite guests. Launched in July 2022, in the evening, the rooftop will transform into Cloud51a bar-restaurant, poised to become one of the city’s nightlife hotspots.
Located in the heart of Tel Aviv “tayelet” (city promenade), the David Kempinski Tel Aviv is within walking distance of the city’s popular outdoor sports and water activities, including stand-up paddleboarding and surfing lessons, biking and walking tours and outdoor yoga sessions. With direct beach access, the David Kempinski Tel Aviv offers a beach pack including towels, sunscreen, snacks and refreshments.
