The Dubai Food Festival 2022 is set to delight the taste buds from May 2

The Dubai Food Festival (DFF), the city’s annual food festival, is back! Celebrating Dubai’s global gastronomy status, the 14-day citywide food festival will return from May 2-15, 2022 to showcase Dubai’s most exciting culinary offerings.

Returning for the ninth edition, this year’s festival will take guests on an immersive tour of a city home to over 200 nationalities and renowned for its rich culinary diversity. DFF will showcase the best authentic local cuisine and concepts created by Dubai’s local food heroes, as well as world-class gourmet restaurants, experiences and masterclasses by top chefs with views of Dubai’s iconic locations.

Festival favorites Dubai Restaurant Week and Foodie Experiences will once again headline DFF with exclusive dining experiences. Reservations are now open and with limited seating available, diners are encouraged to reserve their seats now. Here is what the key events of this DFF have in store for us:

Dubai Restaurant Week (6 – 15 May)

In partnership with 40 of the city’s best restaurants, Dubai Restaurant Week (DRW) returns from May 6 with specially selected 3-course dinner menus from AED 150 per person or 2-course lunch menus from from AED 95. Diners across the city will be able to enjoy irresistible dishes using the freshest ingredients – all at an attractive price that allows guests to save up to 50% on restaurant meals.

This year, the DRW is home to some of the city’s most recognized restaurants, including some of those listed in the 2022 MENA Top 50 Restaurants, such as LOWE, Reif Japanese Kushiyaki, and Indochine, as well as hot spots that have been launched in 2021/22 such as 11 Woodfire and Tamoka. .

Diners will also be able to enjoy restaurants with iconic views and global names at special DRW prices, including 99 Sushi Bar and Restaurant, Hutong and Inti, to name a few.

DRW reservations are now open and places are limited, so reservations must be made in advance. Reservations can be made via Open Table https://www.opentable.ae/ and the full list of restaurants can be found at www.dubaifoodfestival.com.

Gourmet experiences (2 – 15 May)

Those looking for one-of-a-kind, one-of-a-kind culinary adventures across Dubai, DFF will host the return of Foodie Experiences, which will run throughout the duration of DFF (May 2-15) and feature a curated series of Dubai’s most anticipated events. and top chef tables, masterclasses, culinary collaborations as well as ready-to-use experiential dining concepts exclusive to DFF.

Highlights of this edition include a sushi-making class with Chef Tatsu at 1004 Gourmet, multi-course menus from potential food scraps at Lowe’s, and a paella masterclass at Suq Restaurant (Four Seasons), among others.

Reservations for all gourmet experiences are required in advance, by contacting the chosen restaurant directly.

If that’s not enough to entice the most discerning foodies, diners across the city can expect more events as part of DFF 2022 to be announced soon, including celebrity chef appearances and specially curated menus. prepared by “Made in Dubai” restaurants. DFF will also celebrate Eid Al Fitr with Eid Big Breakfast – which will offer authentic breakfast experiences for dinner and delivery, and will cater to various nationalities and cultures across the city.

There will also be unique promotions at malls across the city up for grabs and new for DFF 2022, residents will be able to identify their favorite Hidden Gem restaurants around the city with DFF’s Social Eats contest, for a chance to win!

Exclusive dining deals will also be up for grabs at the Dubai Comedy Festival as well as dining deals, experiences and fun for the whole family at Time Out Market and Ripe Market, and more!
